2025 - Suzy Merton's funeral takes place. Dylan Penders overdoses on spice after Marlon Dingle plants ketamine on him to get him kicked out of Smithy Cottage and away from April Windsor.

2025 - Writer Martin Fustes is announced as having been dismissed from the show after the revelation that a recent court sentencing has seen him charged with domestic abuse.
