- 1974 - New tenants of Crossthwaite's Cottage, Franklin and Diana Prescott arrive in the village.
- 1982 - The tyres on the Sugden family's land rover are slashed by an unknown culprit.
- 1998 - Kelly Windsor tells Chris Tate she's pregnant, hoping he'd pay for an abortion as the baby is actually Biff Fowler's.
- 2002 - Edna Birch's beloved dog Batley is put down.
- 2010 - Maisie Wylde suffers a nervous breakdown. She drinks at work, slaps Marlon Dingle and cuts her forehead by slamming it off a mirror in the ladies' toilets. She collapses and is found by Katie Sugden.
- 2016 - A drunk Kirin Kotecha accidentally runs over Tess Harris with his car. Tess was waiting for Rhona Goskirk to tell her about her affair with Paddy Kirk. At the hospital, Tess' husband Pierce arrives, meeting Paddy and Rhona. Unfortunately, Tess dies in theatre, leaving Paddy heartbroken.
- 2021 - Debbie Dingle leaves the village after her ex-boyfriend Al Chapman tricks her mother Charity into confessing about Debbie's involvement of stealing money from Kim Tate (final appearance of Debbie Dingle).
- 2022 - Billy Fletcher is arrested for assaulting Alex Moore but is let go after Mackenzie Boyd gives him a false alibi.
