1957 - Terry Woods born.
1979 - A hitchhiker, fitting the description of Wendy Hotson's rapist, is hit by a motorcycle driven by Poor Ocker and Smarty Garret.
1983 - A group of rustlers try to steal cattle from Emmerdale Farm. Jack Sugden confronts them with his shotgun but one of them knocks the shotgun out of his hand and pins him down but Jack hits him in the head with a rock.
1989 - Joe Sugden and Kate Hughes marry. Jack Sugden and Sarah Connolly return to the village.
1994 - First appearance of Betty Eagleton.
2002 - Ashley Thomas ask his wife Bernice for a divorce.
2004 - Charity Tate's retrial takes place. She is acquitted of her murder charges after Zoe Tate provides evidence that her brother Chris commited suicide.
2006 - Adam Forsythe drugs Terence Turner before locking him in the cellar.
2011 - Alex Moss arrives in Emmerdale to begin working for John Barton.
2013 - Moira Barton discovers she is pregnant.
2016 - Gordon Livesy's trial begins.
2018 - Ross Barton attacks Rhona Goskirk when she hides his painkillers. She later manages to get him to admit he has a drug problem.
