1974 - Joe Sugden and Christine Sharp split after five weeks of marriage.
1991 - Chris Tate proposes to Kathy Merrick.
1992 - Lorraine Nelson reveals to Lynn Whiteley that her father sexually abused her.
1996 - First appearance of Sophie Wright.
2006 - Victoria Sugden sees someone inside the abandoned Wylie's Farm, believing it's a ghost.
2007 - Jack Sugden confronts his wife Diane about her affair with Billy Hopwood and promptly assaults Billy. Jack's daughter Victoria confronts Billy, who spitefully insinuates that she wouldn't be so sure about the saintliness of her own family if she knew the truth about her mother's death.
2009 - Ashley Thomas and Vincent Spode fight after Vincent discovers that Ashley lied about his wife's whereabouts.
2010 - Jackson Walsh awakens from his coma. Aaron Livesy and Jackson's parents are told that Jackson may be left paralysed from the neck down.
2013 - Cameron Murray attacks PC Harrison and knocks him unconscious. He then sneaks into the Woolpack, knocking out Marlon Dingle and leaving him to drown in the cellar. David Metcalfe's stag do takes place.
2018 - Gemma Harris dies as a result of a car crash.
2019 - Lee Posner dies from a brain bleed caused by the injuries sustained after being hit with a shovel by Robert Sugden.

2007 - Emmerdale Farm: Volume One DVD released by Network featuring the first 26 episodes.
