- 1973 - Sick of constantly rowing with Jack, Marian Wilks leaves for a Greek Islands cruise. Amos Brearly proposes to Annie Sugden but she turns him down.
- 1986 - Jackie Merrick attempts to reconcile with Sita Sharma, but an argument ensues, resulting in the pair getting violent towards each other. Sita then dumps Jackie.
- 2004 - Bernice Thomas returns for Tricia Dingle's funeral.
- 2006 - Sam Dingle and Alice Wilson are devastated to discover that Alice's cancer is very aggressive and spread to her central nervous system.
- 2007 - Eli Dingle is arrested for possession of stolen goods. When Rosemary King makes a snide remark about Eli's arrest, his cousin Chas sees red, threatens Rosemary and is soon arrested for assault.
- 2014 - Rachel Breckle tells the police she burnt down Home Farm at Christmas to get Sam Dingle released. She flees the village with her son Archie to avoid going to prison. Jude Watson leaves the village as well to take up a post in Ripon.
- 2025 - Wendy Posner confesses that she told a journalist from Hotten Courier about Ella Forster and Rhona's past. She is sacked from her job at Brook Cottage Surgery and Bob Hope breaks up with her. Marlon Dingle collapses and is told he has a chest infection and high blood pressure. Ruby Fox-Miligan tells her father Anthony Fox that he is Steph Miligan's biological father and confronts him over abusing her when she was younger. Chas Dingle works out that Ruby's abuser is Anthony and therefore Steph's biological father.
