3rd January - Ruby Fox-Miligan opens up to her sister-in-law Chas Dingle that Caleb may not be Steph's biological father because she was forced into sex by an unknown person when she was younger. Marlon tells his wife Rhona Goskirk that his ex-wife Laurel Thomas tried to kiss him before Christmas.
10th January - Rhona is harassed by online trolls who break into Smithy Cottage and livestream her reaction.
15th January - A DNA test confirms Caleb is not Steph's biological father.
16th January - Wendy Posner confesses that she told a journalist from Hotten Courier about Ella Forster and Rhona's past. She is sacked from her job at Brook Cottage Surgery and Bob Hope breaks up with her. Marlon collapses and is told he has a chest infection and high blood pressure. Ruby tells her father Anthony Fox that he's Steph's biological father and confronts him over abusing her when she was younger. Chas works out that Ruby's abuser is Anthony and therefore Steph's biological father.
20th January - Laurel hits Anthony over the head with an antique after walking in on him having an altercation with Nicola King after Chas told Nicola that Anthony is a danger to young girls.
21st January - Caleb holds Anthony at gunpoint and threatens to kill him unless he confesses to abusing Ruby. Anthony eventually confesses but also tells Caleb that Ruby slept with his brother Cain Dingle.
23rd January - Aaron Dingle brutally beats Anthony at the depot and leaves him lying on the floor. When Aaron and his boyfriend John Sugden return, they find Anthony dead and John removes the body and cleans up the scene. Joe confesses to Dawn he's addicted to painkillers as he's still affected by injuries sustained in an attack at the hands of Cain in 2018. Kim Tate plants a listening device in Joe's bedroom to try and gather information on him.
30th January - Ruby reveals to Aaron that she actually killed Anthony, finding him beaten on the depot floor and delivering the killer final blow in a moment of rage. John, Aaron, Caleb, Ruby and Chas enter into a cover-up of Anthony's murder. Kerry Wyatt stops Eric Pollard from carrying out a plan to burn down David's Shop for insurance money to repay Brenda Walker by revealing she was responsible of started the fire that killed Frank Clayton in 2019.
3rd February - Cain ends up pulled into the cover-up of Anthony's murder. Marlon and Rhona are informed that April has been found by the police and taken to hospital after giving birth to a stillborn baby.
7th February - Dawn agrees to entering into a casual affair with Joe.
12th February - Caleb realises that Cain did sleep with Ruby. Belle goes to see Tom in prison to try and move the divorce amicably but realises her attempts to reason with him are futile.
13th February - Cain is arrested for Anthony's disappearance. Caleb later tries to frame him for Anthony's murder by placing a tooth he obtained of Anthony's from the murder scene in Cain's boot. Aaron witnesses Caleb planting the evidence and removes it before the police conduct a search. Kerry wins a Take A Vow Valentine promotion and arranges a night out with the ladies in the village.
14th February - Charity Dingle crashes a limousine into a frozen lake when she swerves in the road to avoid her son Noah Dingle who is under the influence. Suzy Merton is killed at the scene, Amy Barton falls through the ice and is rescued but later dies in hospital, and Leyla Harding dies on her way to hospital. While under the ice, Amy notices a dead body and tries to tell husband Matty Barton before her death but he misunderstands her. Caleb confronts Cain over sleeping with Ruby and beats him up. Cain returns to his wife Moira Dingle and confesses to her.
24th February - A vigil is held in memory of Leyla, Amy and Suzy.
27th February - April registers her stillborn baby's birth and names her Rebecca.
28th February - Lydia Dingle discovers Dawn and Joe's affair and promptly passes her findings along to Kim.
4th March - Moira is told she has completed her preventative radiotherapy treatment and receives the all clear on her scan results.
5th March - Jacob is sent home after suffering a panic attack while on his work placement.
6th March - The funerals of Leyla and Amy take place.
10th March - Suzy's funeral takes place. Dylan Penders overdoses on spice after Marlon plants ketamine on him to get him kicked out of Smithy Cottage and away from April.
12th March - Dylan checks into rehab with Marlon paying for his treatment.
13th March - Steph learns about Anthony's abuse of Ruby and that he is her biological father. Vanessa Woodfield discovers Suzy had shared a kiss with Mary Goskirk before her death and was planning to leave her. April collects Rebecca Windsor's ashes and scatters them.
14th March - Steph is informed of the cover-up of Anthony's murder. Eric asks Tracy Robinson to take over the book-keeping at David's Shop temporarily.
18th March - John and Aaron get engaged at Liam and Chas's engagement party.
19th March - Chas collapses after over-dosing on her painkiller medication.
20th March - Ross Barton is hired as Head of Security at Home Farm. Ella is arrested for tampering with Chas' medication.
26th March - Ella is forced out of the village by accusations of tampering with Chas' medication.
27th March - Caleb is stabbed, kidnapped and robbed of a kidney which is transplanted into Joe. Brenda learns she has won a three-month round the world cruise.
3rd April - Ella returns to the village to try and convince Liam that she did not tamper with Chas' medication, taking him and Mandy Dingle hostage in the process. She is eventually arrested by the police.
4th April - Cain sacks Sarah and Kammy from the garage after blaming them for losing a potentially lucrative customer. Brenda and Cathy Hope leave on a round the world cruise for three months.
8th April - John misdiagnoses Kerry believing she is suffering with a hangover when she is actually suffering from diabetic ketoacidosis.
9th April - Jacob returns to his work placement at A&E.
10th April - Jacob suffers anaphylactic shock when John switches their coffees, giving him an almond milk latte, and rushing to his aid to get back in Liam's good books. Eric learns Tracy has been stealing from him and sacks her. Kim allows Gabby Thomas and Vinny Dingle to move into Dale View rent free.
11th April - Joe returns to the village. Eric reinstates Tracy at the shop.
14th April - John reveals to Steph, Ruby, Caleb and Aaron that Antony's body isn't actually buried in the woods but refuses to tell them where he did bury him.
17th April - Caleb discovers the truth about his missing kidney. Dawn breaks up with Billy.
18th April - John is nominated for a Yorkshire Hero Award, after submitting himself through as a candidate under someone else's name. Caleb tries to run down Joe but is stopped by Cain.
21st April - Victoria meets an old army friend of John's, Connor Cooper, who reveals that Aidan Moore is alive but in a coma and that he and John were engaged rather than just friends. Kim and Cain call an end to the feud between Joe and Caleb. Kim offers Caleb the land surrounding his business.
22nd April - Billy moves out of Home Farm and into the holiday cottage.
23rd April - Mackenzie learns the truth about Aidan and relays the news to Aaron. Billy and Dawn inform Lucas and Clemmie that they have split up.
24th April - Kammy and Jacob have a dirt bike race in the woods. After the race, Kammy spots Sarah hugging and kissing Jacob. Gabby and Vinny get engaged.
25th April - Claudette Anderson covers on reception at Brook Cottage Surgery, leading to her being offered a job shortly afterwards. John attacks Liam and knocks him unconscious, mistaking him for Mackenzie. Kammy breaks up with Sarah believing she still holds feelings for Jacob.
28th April - Caleb and Ruby acquire the land surrounding Caleb Miligan International from Kim. Ruby decides she is officially going to change her surname to 'Miligan'.
2nd May - John arranges for the removal of Nate's belongings from Tug Ghyll leading wife Tracy and father Cain to believe Nate has ordered the removal of his belongings himself. Steph attends her first therapy session.
8th May - Noah goes to the police over Joe kidnapping and spiking him. Joe tumbles out of a first floor window at Home Farm prompting a police investigation.
12th May - Billy is arrested for the attempted murder of Joe. He is later released after being given an alibi by Dawn who reveals to Billy that she was the one who pushed Joe, causing him to fall out of the window.
13th May - Liam moves in with Chas at the Woolpack. Mandy and Paddy become the official tenants of Tenant House.
15th May - John tries to get his own back on Mackenzie by causing a slurry leak at Butlers Farm and allowing him to take the blame.
16th May - Joe blackmails Noah into dropping his police statement about his kidnap and spiking of him. He later reveals to the police that he drunkenly tripped and fell out of the window at Home Farm. Moira discovers the slurry leak has spread to a nearby stream and into the water supply. Harry Sugden is hospitalised after drinking the contaminated water.
26th May - A terrified Aidan slips back into his coma after coming face to face with John in hospital. Robert Sugden returns to the village in an effort to put a stop to the wedding of Aaron and John. He fails as the wedding goes ahead and he is arrested and sent back to prison for missing his first probation meeting since his release. Police divers recover a body from the lake.
2nd June - Dawn goes into partnership with Belle at Take A Vow, using a bank loan to invest in the company.
3rd June - Eric suffers a fall at his home and is taken into hospital. April walks out on her GCSE exams, feeling unable to complete them.
4th June - April begins a summer job at Take A Vow, intending to return to school to redo Year 11 in the autumn. Tracy and Cain are informed that the body found in the lake has been identified as Nate.
5th June - Realising he needs home help, Eric offers to pay Kerry for her care.
11th June - On his 80th birthday, Eric receives a birthday card from Brenda with a letter enclosed, informing him she will not be returning to the village following her cruise. The police find Nate's phone in Frankie Robinson's playhouse. Tracy is arrested on suspicion of murdering Nate but later released.
13th June - A confused Vinny attempts to kiss Kammy.
19th June - Robert is released from prison for the second time this year and returns to the village.
20th June - Robert begins working at Caleb Miligan International on a trial basis.

4th February - ITV announced plans to revise both Emmerdale and Coronation Street's broadcast patterns from January 2026, intending for both programmes to be broadcast in 30 minute slots, Mondays to Fridays between 8pm and 9pm.
10th March - Writer Martin Fustes is announced as having been dismissed from the show following the revelation that a recent court sentencing has seen him charged with domestic abuse.
