1937 - Edna Birch is born.
1987 - Eric Pollard starts his hate campaign against Phil Pearce and Sandie Merrick by slashing the tyres on Phil's car.
1992 - Adam Barton is born.
1998 - Sam Dingle is charged with assaulting Jez Hudson.
2002 - Bernice Thomas leaves Emmerdale.
2004 - Jack Sugden is enraged to learn his son Robert has been having an affair with his sister-in-law Katie and punches him.
2005 - Paddy Kirk unwittingly confesses to his wife Emily that he had been having a fling with Viv Windsor.
2006 - An argument between Daz Eden, Jasmine Thomas and Debbie Dingle ends when, in a fit of rage, Daz throws a bottle of vodka, which catches alight and sets Brook Cottage on fire.
2008 - Gennie Walker discovers that Shadrach Dingle is her biological father.
2010 - When Jackson Walsh arrives in the village, he touches Aaron Livesy, who overreacts and punches Jackson in the face. Aaron is then arrested.
2011 - Cain Dingle and Ryan Lamb steal Jai Sharma's car. They are caught by Charity Tate who calls the police, and the pair are arrested.
