1974 - Marian Wilks gets engaged to a man whilst in New Zealand.
1986 - Joe Sugden returns to the village. Harry Mowlam's funeral takes place.
1993 - Annie Sugden returns home from Spain to discover the Emmerdale Farm farmhouse has been abandoned.
1999 - First appearance of Angie Reynolds.
2002 - Jerry Mackinley and Syd Woolfe arrive to work on Viv Hope's café.
2004 - Donna Windsor tells boyfriend Robert Sugden she has chlamydia. Robert realises he may have passed it onto Katie Sugden.
2005 - Chloe Atkinson is forced to leave the village in disgrace after Chas Dingle exposes to the entire village that Chloe isn't pregnant.
2008 - In a moment of anger, Andy Sugden lashes out at his wife Jo by throwing her to the floor.
2010 - Aaron Livesy attacks Paddy Kirk after he confesses to Paddy that he is gay. Sam Dingle proposes to Olena Petrovich, but she rejects, lying that she will get sent home for being an illegal immigrant.
2025 - Kammy Hadiq begins working at Barton and Dingle Automotives on Sarah Sugden's recommendation.
