1973 - Amos Brearly returns to the village.
1974 - First appearance of Kathy Davis.
1987 - Nick and Kathy Bates's half-brother William is born.
1997 - Linda Fowler's funeral takes place.
2001 - The teens of Emmerdale are followed around by an unknown individual. When Eve Birch is grabbed by the person, the teens chase the figure and are shocked to discover it is Sam Dingle.
2012 - Debbie Dingle smashes up Cameron Murray's van and sets fire to his belongings.
2013 - Ross Barton is arrested for carjacking Laurel Thomas, whilst Laurel is arrested for assaulting Ross. Ross is released but Laurel is charged.
2019 - Mandy Dingle and Vinny reveals they stole a large sum of money from a casino with the help-in-hand of a friend known as "Red" (revealed to be the alias of Charity Dingle). Vinny is revealed to not actually be Mandy's son.
2020 - Priya Kotecha informs Paddy Kirk that Kirin Kotecha has been sentenced to 7 years imprisonment for the hit-and-run on Tess Harris in 2016. Mackenzie Boyd, Moira Dingle's secret younger brother arrives in the village.
2021 - Gabby Thomas names her son Thomas Tate. After talking Kim Tate into signing over 20% of her assets over to Gabby, Diane Sugden leaves the village to move to Portugal.
