- 1921 - Henry Wilks born.
- 1974 - First appearance of Freda Gimbel.
- 1980 - Tom Merrick returns to the village.
- 1999 - Paddy Kirk's cousin Jason arrives out of the blue, having fallen out with his parents after revealing he's gay.
- 2003 - Ronnie Marsden makes a move on Siobhan Marsden, leading her to smash a wine bottle on him. When Siobhan's husband and Ronnie's son Paul finds out, he tells his mother Frances, who reacts by smashing up their house with an axe and throwing Ronnie out.
- 2008 - Jasmine Thomas ransacks Shane Doyle's flat for evidence and discovers money and drugs. When Shane enters his flat, he tries to rape Jasmine, but Debbie Dingle turns up, hears Jasmine's screams and knocks Shane out by hitting him over the head with a chair. Shane comes to and tries to attack Debbie, leading Jasmine to hit him with a chair leg repeatedly, killing him.
- 2021 - Liv Flaherty is arrested on suspicion of Ben Tucker's murder and is later charged.
