- 1955 - Shelly Williams born.
- 1976 - Martin Gimbel holds Rosemary Kendall prisoner inside Emmerdale Farm, but she is rescued by Mel Openshaw.
- 1993 - Following a period of poor health, Meg Armstrong dies of a stroke.
- 1995 - Terry Woods and his wife Britt become new managers of the Woolpack.
- 1999 - Tricia Stokes and Mandy Dingle have a mud fight outside the Woolpack, which is broken up by Tricia's furious grandfather Alan Turner.
- 2000 - Kelly Windsor confesses to husband Roy Glover that she had an affair with her step-brother, Scott.
- 2001 - Bob Hope proposes to Viv Windsor.
- 2005 - Shelley Williams returns to the village.
- 2009 - Lexi Nicholls proposes to Carl King.
- 2017 - Chrissie White falls over a banister and onto a glass table during a brief struggle with her sister Rebecca. Chrissie's son Lachlan is sentenced to five months imprisonment for perverting the course of justice.
