- 1992 - A JCB at Home Farm cuts an electrical cable, causing an explosion and power cuts.
- 1997 - The Sugdens leave Emmerdale Farm. Sean Rossi returns for Dave Glover's funeral.
- 2002 - Marc Reynolds is sentenced to a year in prison for death by dangerous driving. Eve Birch takes her anger out on her grandmother Edna's dog Batley by kicking him, witnessed by Betty Eagleton. Andrew Fraser leaves the village.
- 2004 - In the aftermath of the storm, Tricia Dingle lies in a critical condition, with her husband Marlon, mother Steph and grandfather Alan keeping a vigil by her bedside. Tricia suddenly flatlines and Marlon is summoned to the consultant's office, where he is told that Tricia is brain dead.
- 2005 - Andy Sugden ends his relationship with Debbie Dingle.
- 2008 - Alan Turner injures his foot when one of the church roof slates fall off.
- 2009 - Marlon Dingle tells the police that Ross Kirk killed Shane Doyle because Shane blackmailed Ross and Marlon's wife Donna.
- 2014 - Sam Dingle is arrested on suspicion of arson with intent after being set up by Declan Macey and Charity Sharma, he is later released on bail due to lack of evidence.
- 2015 - Finn Barton meets his mother Emma for the first time.
- 2017 - Kerry Wyatt sets fire to Cain Dingle's caravan.
- 2018 - Cain and Aaron Dingle help Adam Barton break out of a prison van and flee the country.
- 2019 - Bernice Blackstock suffers a severe allergic reaction to filler cosmetics.
- 2020 - Bernice Blackstock ends her relationship with Liam Cavanagh after he confessed that he kissed Leyla Harding on phone.
