- 1976 - The Woolpack is closed and has to be moved to a new location.
- 1981 - Derek Warner and Tom Merrick are arrested for theft.
- 1994 - Joe and Annie Sugden find out that Leonard Kempinski was killed. Jack Sugden identifies Mark Hughes's body. Frank Tate discovers a dead baby in a tree.
- 2002 - Len Reynolds returns home to discover his house has been burgled.
- 2004 - Scott Windsor kidnaps his and Zoe Tate's daughter Jean.
- 2005 - Tom King goes missing.
- 2006 - Terence Turner returns to the village for the first time since 1985.
- 2009 - Matthew King's funeral takes place. Anna De Souza leaves the village after the wake. Ross Kirk is charged with the murder of Shane Doyle.
- 2011 - Maisie Wylde accepts Nikhil Sharma's proposal. Lisa Dingle is raped by Derek Benrose when the two do overtime alone in the factory.
- 2014 - A man named Ian Chamberlain arrives to tell Val Pollard that he is HIV positive and that there is a possibility that she might have it too after a fling they had while Val stayed in Portugal.
- 2015 - Cain Dingle collapses in the garage after getting a sharp pain in his head.
- 2016 - Vanessa Woodfield discovers that the father of her baby son Johnny is Kirin Kotecha and not Adam Barton as originally thought.
