Emmerdale history
- 1963 - Pete Whiteley is born.
- 1989 - Denis Rigg dies when he is impaled against a wall by Joe Sugden's bull.
- 1995 - Amos Brearly makes his final appearance after 23 years, the last 3 of which were recurring appearances. Annie Sugden goes to live with Amos. First appearance of Des Burtenshaw.
- 1999 - The Emmerdale Summer Fair takes place. During the day, Tricia Stokes hitches Bernice Blackstock's beer tent to Jack Sugden's Land Rover, causing it to collapse on several villagers, Mandy Dingle is arrested for assaulting Stella Jones (unintentionally) and Angie Reynolds (intentionally), but on a happier note, Kathy Glover accepts Biff Fowler's proposal of marriage.
- 2000 - Lisa Dingle is arrested under the suspicion of burglary. Cain Dingle beats up Jason Kirk when Jason blackmails Cain.
- 2004 - Paul Marsden dies after falling off scaffolding and through a roof. Carl King and his brothers Jimmy and Matthew move Paul's body to his own garden to make his death as an accident.
- 2005 - Terry Woods is told by Diane Sugden that his partner Louise Appleton has been having an affair with Matthew King.
- 2017 - Tim Richards holds Lawrence White at gunpoint before forcing Lawrence to turn on the car, knocking Lawrence out and closing the garage door. Lawrence's grandson Lachlan finds Lawrence and rescues him. Lawrence tells Lachlan that Tim is Chrissie's biological uncle and he was the reason that Tim's brother John killed himself.
- 2018 - Paddy Kirk's stag do and Chas Dingle's hen night takes place.
