- 1983 - Jackie Merrick beats up Andy Longthorn when he discovers Andy is the father of Jackie's sister's baby.

- 1990 - First appearance of Elsa Feldmann. Lynn Whiteley leaves the village with her husband.
- 1994 - Vic Windsor is arrested after punching a looter at the plane crash site.
