A Tribute to Emmerdale Farm was the first major programme ever broadcast about the history of the show. It was broadcast for a duration of 30 minutes on 25th April 1977 at 3.20pm. The programme featured the stars of Emmerdale Farm being honoured at a luncheon at the Queen's Hotel in Leeds.
