Beryl Crossthwaite is the mother of Sharon Crossthwaite and Annie Sugden's distant cousin. Following the death of her daughter at the hands of Jim Latimer, Beryl and her husband Ronnie Crossthwaite decided to sell their house in Beckindale and make a fresh start in Hull.
