Billy Hartman (born 10th October 1957 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish actor, well known for playing the part of Terry Woods on ITV's Emmerdale from 1995 until his character was killed off in 2011.

In 2003, Billy was a contestant alongside Deena Payne, Ben Freeman, Amy Nuttall and Lorraine Chase on defunct ITV gameshow Russian Roulette. Billy got immunity in the third round but was sent out in the fourth round.

He also played a small role in the film Highlander. He played the part of Dugal MacLeod, cousin of Connor McLeod.

Billy also appeared as Isaac Talentire in the original west end production of Howard Goodall's musical The Hired Man.

Hartman appeared as Dave Slade in the first programme of Series Four of Heartbeat 'Wild Thing' that was aired in the UK on 4th September 1994. He played the part of Dave Slade whose dog was savaging/killing sheep.
