An unnamed Buyer was interested in purchasing the Dale Woods Golf Course development from Joe Tate in February 2018. Joe showed the buyer the site, however, the buyer was put off by the noise and the plumes of smoke coming from the nearby scrapyard. Joe went round to the scrapyard to try to resolve things things but instead, Robert Sugden told the buyer he should talk with Zak Dingle before doing business with Joe as Joe had illegally knocked Zak's house down because one of Zak's family members had crossed Joe's father years before. The buyer subsequently left.
