Carol Wareing was an old friend of Viv Windsor, the ex-girlfriend of Terry Woods and the estranged wife of Gordon Wareing.
Upon arriving in the village, Carol begins an relationship with Terry. She later buys the B&B, with Terry helping her to run it.
In July 2001, she and Cynthia Daggert came to blows in the Woolpack after Carol admitted to calling the police on the Daggert's for squatting in an unused holiday cottage. She then leaves the village for Spain after her husband Gordon arrives.
