Chez Marlon was a restaurant owned by Marlon Dingle, Tricia Fisher and Kathy Glover, situated in the site of the former Kathy's Diner.
After Marlon got wind of Eric Pollard wanting to buy the diner, he decided to bring his dream of owning a restaurant to fruition, but he didn't have the money and asked Chris Tate to invest in the business. He presented a business plan to Kathy, who was impressed, and agreed to a joint venture. The business opened in December 2000. It wasn't a success initially, but started to gain popularity after a glowing review from Tricia's grandfather Alan Turner. It closed in 2001 and the building eventually became the new site for the church after the old one was burned down by Zoe Tate in July 2002.
