Biography[]
2015-2022: Birth and Beth's death[]
Clemmie was born to drug-addicted prostitute Beth Reed in 2015. Beth wasn't in a position to raise Clemmie so she gave her to her mother look after her. Following her her grandmother's death, Clemmie was returned to Beth's care with social services keeping a close eye on the pair.
In July 2022, Beth died of an overdose, leaving seven-year-old Clemmie in the care of her friend Jade. After Beth's funeral, Jade invited Beth's old friend Dawn Fletcher back to her house to celebrate Beth's life as she didn't have the money to pay for a wake. Dawn reluctantly agreed. At Jade's house, Dawn was left stunned when she found little Clemmie sleeping in a dog bed in the corner of the filthy kitchen. When Dawn returned to the living room to confront Jade about Clemmie, she found Jade shooting up heroin. Dawn refused to leave Clemmie in Jade's care so she took Clemmie home with her to Woodbine Cottage until she was removed from Dawns care after Harriet Finch made a call to social services, only until then Dawn discovered she was Lucas’s half sister after Alex had an affair.
