Connor Jenson was a rent-boy who was hired by Robert Sugden to seduce his estranged father-in-law, Lawrence White.

Connor arrived at Home Farm, claiming to know Lawrence from a local news story and asking to be paid to fix a stable door outside. He then made a pass at Lawrence, which Lawrence refused. Connor returned the next day, pretending to have been beaten up for being gay. Lawrence took Connor in to help him recover and, pitying Connor when he claimed to not have enough money to move, gave him £300. Connor then went to the police accusing Lawrence of assault.

Robert used Lawrence’s upset at being falsely accused and fear of going back to prison to try to get back into Lawrence’s good books, following the reveal that Robert had cheated on Lawrence’s daughter Chrissie White with Aaron Dingle. Robert then pretended to work on Lawrence’s legal defence.

Robert arranged for Connor to come to a pub where he and Lawrence were trying to locate him, so that Lawrence could see him catch Connor and pay him off. Robert then had Connor withdraw his statement so that Robert could appear to have saved Lawrence from his predicament.

Robert met with Connor later at Home Farm and gave him £5000. Connor referred to the fact that he and Robert had previously slept together, and Robert told him to leave. Robert then overheard Lawrence making a phone call to prevent Robert from being fired on account of how useful he was with Connor. Lawrence also then told Robert he could move back into Home Farm until Chrissie returned from staying with her sister, Rebecca White.

During an argument, Robert later revealed to Lawrence that Connor was a rent boy he had paid to make a move on Lawrence, and mocked Lawrence for panicking about going to prison and for being gay.
