David Blakemore was an agricultural student who was temporarily recruited to help Joe Sugden at NY Estates in September 1981. David impressed Sandie Merrick with his flash car and the pair went out together. However, Sandie and David ended up splitting and Sandie moved on to Graham Jelks. David remained in Beckindale until November 1981.
