Debbie Arnold (born 14th June 1955 in Sunderland, County Durham) appeared as Debbie Wilson in April and May 1990.

Arnold made her made her television debut in 1976 in Who Do You Do as an impressionist, a talent she inherited from her father Eddie. She then went on to become a regular on the ITV game show 3-2-1.

In addition to appearing to Emmerdale, she has also appeared in guest roles in other soap operas Coronation Street, Hollyoaks and Doctors, as well as a regular role in EastEnders, playing April Branning from 1995 to 1996. Her other television acting credits include The Liver Birds, The Bill, Birds of a Feather, All Creatures Great and Small, Doctors, Holby City, Jonathan Creek, Terry and June, Shoestring, Minder and Miss Marple.

She has been married twice. In 1981, she married actor John Challis, known for playing Boycie in BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses, divorcing in 1985. In 1989, she married actor David Janson, known for playing Ken Richardson in ITV sitcom Get Some In!. They had two children, one of whom is actress Ciara Janson, who as a regular in Hollyoaks as Nicole Owen.
