Dr Ashraf examined Eliza Macey after she suffered a seizure in October 2017. Dr Ashraf informed Eliza's worried parents, Jai Sharma and Megan Macey, that a brain scan would be performed the following day to see if Eliza suffered any brain damage. He also mentioned that if Eliza suffered another seizure, she may be on medication for life. Following the scan, Dr Ashraf diagnosed Eliza has bilateral spastic diplegia - a mild form of cerebral palsy.
