Ed Wills was the boyfriend of Emily Dingle. Ed met Emily at St. Mary's Church, however Ed and Emily briefly lost contact, and Emily was encouraged to go find him by Nicola Blackstock. The pair fell in love with each other and Ed loved how Emily would let him ramble on about anything without telling him to shut up. Emily told Ed how she believed he was a messenger for her late husband Butch Dingle, and Ed understood, believing it could be possible as well.
