Ella Forster (née Ruth Davies) is a child murderer who became the new receptionist at Brook Cottage Surgery.
Ella arrived in Emmerdale in January 2024 for a vets function at the Hide Bar & Bistro hosted by her employer, Jules Jefferson. Jules treated Ella appallingly, although Ella confided in her new friend Mandy Dingle that she put up with him as she needed the job. However, when Jules made a dig about Mandy's outfit, Ella had enough and poured beer over Jules' head by way of handing in her notice. Mandy's partner Paddy Dingle saw the aftermath of the incident and assumed Mandy was responsible for pouring the beer over Jules so had a go at her, causing Mandy to run out in tears.
The following day, Ella and Mandy met up to discuss the previous day's events. Local GP Manpreet Sharma heard them talking and offered Ella a job as the receptionist in the newly opened Brook Cottage Surgery.
