Elsie is the sister of Edith Weatherall.
Elsie first appeared in the village for Edith's funeral. She discovered that Edith had given Elsie's house to Tricia Fisher and Marlon Dingle. Tricia and Marlon had renovated the house for Edith and tried to convince Elsie to pay builders Jerry Mackinley and Syd Woolfe for the renovations but their attempts were unsuccessful. Elsie later returned to New Zealand.
