On 19th October 1993, three days after the programme's 21st anniversary, Pickwick Group Limited released a VHS entitled Emmerdale: 21 Years. Running at 114 minutes, the VHS was presented by Frazer Hines and included various clips from over Emmerdale's history with a look behind the scenes at the making of the programme. The VHS also featured the first episode of Emmerdale Farm in its entirety.
Those interviewed on the VHS include Frazer Hines, Sheila Mercier, Keith Richardson, Fionnuala Ellwood, Stan Richards, Ronald Magill, Morag Bain, Glenda McKay, Mervyn Cumming and Alun Lewis.
