Plot[]

Part One: It's the morning after Belle told Charity that Tom has been abusing her. Charity promises Belle they'll sort things and Tom won't get away with doing this to her. Belle isn't sure she's ready for everyone to know yet, especially Cain as she's done with men lashing out. Charity agrees to speak to Cain for her and promises Belle he'll be brilliant. Caleb approaches Moira and tells her she owes Ruby an apology for assaulting her but their conversation isn't productive due to Nate's presence as he's still angry with Caleb because of his affair with Tracy. John has spent the night with Aaron. Aaron hopes John sticks around but he's still planning on leaving. Ruby plots revenge on Moira. At Tug Ghyll, Tracy fills Vanessa in on her kiss with Nate and how she hopes they can get back together so Vanessa urges Tracy to tell Nate how she feels. As Tom and Amelia have a drink in the pub, Tom receives a text from his sister Anya wishing him a happy birthday for tomorrow. Charity tracks Cain down to the pub and tells him to meet her at the farm in twenty minutes to talk about Belle, but makes it clear Tom cannot know about it. Nate admits to Mack that he kissed Tracy. Mack hopes this means Nate won't take the job but Nate has no idea where he stands. At the farmhouse, a distraught Charity makes Cain swear not to kill Tom then breaks the news that Tom has been abusing Belle. Cain is enraged. His first instinct is the batter Tom, but Charity stops him as it's not what Belle wants.

Part Two: Charity informs Cain how Belle told her everything yesterday - the abuse has been going on since before they were married. Cain doesn't understand why Belle didn't say anything before. He can't bear to listen when Charity comments they're lucky Tom didn't kill Belle and he walks out. As they work in the barn, Nate tells Moira that something is brewing between him and Tracy again. Moira is happy for him. She encourages him to go and talk to Tracy and gives him a hug. Suddenly, Moira stills and her face goes blank. Nate thinks Moira is trying to kiss him and questions what she's doing. Caleb witnesses the interaction from across the yard and is left confused. Amelia attempts to organise something for Tom's birthday but everyone claims they're busy. An emotional Cain heads to Jacobs Fold to see Belle. He wraps his little sister in his arms and promises her they believe her and they love her. A worked-up Nate confronts Moira about trying to kiss him. Moira protests she didn't but Nate tells her she's done him a favour as he's been off another job and is leaving. As Nate storms off, a confused Moira tearfully questions what's going on. Meanwhile at the Mill, Caleb fills Ruby in on Moira and Nate's "kiss". Ruby concludes Moira only accused her of being after Cain to cover up her own affair and insists Cain deserves to know. Kerry thinks Amelia has got a thing for rescuing lost lads and questions what she gets out of a relationship with Tom. Nate calls in past Tug Ghyll to speak to Tracy. Tracy tells him that yesterday wasn't a mistake. At the same time, Nate informs Tracy he's definitely taking the job in Shetland. Tracy is devastated however Nate explains he wants her to come with him and get away from the village and all of it's ghosts. Tracy agrees then leads Nate upstairs. Tom is unnerved to realise Belle has likely told Cain and Charity everything.
