Plot[]

Episode 10197[]

Part One: Anthony protests his innocence to Aaron but Aaron doesn't believe him and punches Anthony in the stomach, knocking him to the floor. Caleb assures Ruby they will get past this together. Aaron informs Anthony about the abuse he suffered at the hands of Gordon. Dawn finds Joe has ran off the road in his car and rushes over to find him barely conscious behind the wheel. She finds a tub of unlabelled pills on him and wants to know what's going on. Aaron tells Anthony he intends to ensure he goes to prison. Ruby decides she doesn't want to go to the police as she never wants Steph to find out the truth. Anthony begs Aaron to stop, sobbing that he can't go to prison. Aaron flies into a frenzy of rage when Anthony argues that Ruby never tried to stop him and questions how hard he tried to stop Gordon.

Part Two: Anthony lies on the depot floor covered in blood, telling Aaron to finish the job. Seeing the blood on his hands, Aaron comes to his senses and walks away, leaving Anthony on the floor. Joe tells Dawn that he keeps suffering bad headaches and is self-medicating with painkillers. She believes he has a drug problem and that he needs help. Aaron arrives back at Mill Cottage and overhears Caleb, who is leaving, on the phone to Steph who is still searching for Anthony. John notices blood on Aaron's neck and he admits he has almost killed Anthony. Joe threatens to tell Billy about him and her when she threatens to tell Kim about his pills. Aaron confides in John that when he was looking at Anthony all he could see was Gordon and he wanted to kill him. John makes him realise that he didn't and that he walked away. Aaron's horrified when John says they need to go back as they can't leave Anthony to die. Laurel is frantic at home and calls Nicola but reaches her voicemail. She leaves her a message asking her what they are going to do. Nicola enquires at the hospital as to whether any men matching Anthony's description have arrived at the hospital, on the pretence that she is Anthony's daughter. She provides his name but panics when she is asked for her contact details and leaves. John and Aaron return to the depot and find Anthony dead.

Episode 10198[]

Part Three: Aaron begins to panic and swears that he did not mean to kill Anthony. John suggests they get rid of his body. Noah hides his disappointment from Charity when Joe doesn't turn up for their drink. He questions Charity on if she has seen his watch and she admits she returned it to Joe. They argue over Noah seeing him again. Dawn goes to talk to Billy but he cuts in, apologising to her about his reaction over her new job and admitting he's proud of her. Dawn finds herself unable to say what she was going to say. Aaron accidentally kicks a tooth of Anthony's lying on the floor into some racking unknowingly. John tells Aaron to leave him to sort the problem alone. Ross and Steph bump into each other and she recruits him in her search for Anthony. John has bagged Anthony's body and drags him out of the depot. Charity insists to Noah that she is just trying to protect him from Joe. He admits to Charity that he never felt like he had a father figure and that he doesn't have any proper mates. He likes that Joe wants to spend time with him. Kim overhears their conversation and tries to tell Charity that Joe has changed. Charity is surprised to find that even Kim has been taken in by Joe. Ruby worries as Caleb hasn't been able to get Steph home as she is still searching for Anthony. Kim goes looking for Joe and leaves a voice recorder hidden in his room. Ross and Steph find John about to change a flat tyre and insist on helping him. Ross comes dangerously close to stumbling on Anthony's body in the back of his van.

Part Four: Steph arrives back home genuinely worried about Anthony's disappearance. She's annoyed when Caleb is uninterested and goes to the depot to try and fix the electrics. She's puzzled when, instead of arguing with her, Ruby apologises. Nicola tells an anxious Laurel she has been to the hospital and Anthony wasn't there. She worries about Laurel hitting the bottle again and believes they are in the clear. Ruby and Steph share a moment and make up, apologising to each other for their past mistakes. Ruby tells Steph there is nothing she wouldn't do to keep her safe. Joe apologises to Dawn and assures her he is getting help to get off the pills. Once he's alone he makes a call, revealing to the person on the other end of the phone that people will start noticing soon. Caleb arrives at the depot and seems puzzled to find it empty. He receives a call from Steph telling him that she has made up with Ruby. Aaron gets rid of Cain as he prepares to wash his bloody clothes. Kim plays back her recording of Joe's phone call. Cain goes to see Caleb and tells him that he will provide him with an alibi should Anthony go to the police and that nobody needs to know about him holding Anthony at gunpoint. Ruby is perturbed at Caleb's behaviour as Steph laments that she's pleased they are all getting on again but wishes Anthony would turn up. Aaron launders his bloody clothes as John returns and tells him he has put Anthony somewhere he won't be found. He refuses to answer any of Aaron's questions as Aaron refers to himself as a murderer.
