Plot[]

Episode 10248[]

Part One: Chas informs Ella that she has dropped the case against her with the police and now wants her to go but Ella intends to prove her innocence. Dawn tells Joe she's going to look into hotels and book them a night away. Manpreet fills Mandy in that Ella is now accusing Chas of being an addict. Jai asks after Laurel's involvement in the events that occurred up to Anthony's disappearance. Joe backtracks when she finds Dawn planning massages and walks for them, telling her that their affair is getting too serious and that they should finish. Laurel explains to Jai that Chas thought Anthony was a danger to young girls but made a mistake. Jai is suspicious of how Steph was meant to be meeting Anthony on the day he disappeared but never turned up. He is convinced something is going on with the family. Ross makes Dawn feel guilty when he refers to her as a good mum. Ella calls round to Liam and tells him that Chas is addicted to painkillers. He finds her accusations laughable but she starts to touch a nerve when she reminds him how he missed Leyla's cocaine addiction and got it wrong over her miscarriage. Joe informs Manpreet that he got the results back from Caleb's blood test and it was negative. Ross watches them as they talk. Chas finds Liam routing around in her cupboards and informs her he was checking to see how many tablets she had, explaining about Ella's visit.

Part Two: Chas confronts Ella as an embarrassed Manpreet listens on. Ella's dejected when Manpreet tells her she needs to admit she was responsible for Chas's overdose and realises she doesn't believe her either. She is knocked further when Manpreet wants her to move out. Sarah invites Vinny to join her and Kammy when he bumps into them at the Hide. Ross fills Kim in on seeing Joe talking to Manpreet but is unable to offer her any further information. He tells her he'll uncover something on him soon. Sarah offers to help Kammy get a proper job. When he goes to the bathroom, Vinny asks Sarah if she's told Kammy about her condition yet, but Sarah doesn't want to make the same mistake she did while with Jacob and doesn't intend to for the time being. Liam explains to Chas that Ella played on his insecurities and promises her he will put an end to the situation. Dr Crowley is spooked when Ross snoops on his meeting with Joe to discuss plans for tomorrow, worrying that Ross may tail them and suggests they postpone. Joe assures Dr Crowley he will deal with Ross. Liam goes to see Ella and loses his patience as Ella continues to make her accusations about Chas. He calls her a poisonous manipulative bitch and demands that she leave. Ella is devastated.

Episode 10249[]

Part Three: Ruby suggests to Steph that they should get away together for a little while. Joe makes plans with Shaun to deal with Ross. Manpreet tells Ella she wants her out as soon as possible. Cain is surprised to arrive at the garage and find Kammy working with Sarah. Sarah persuades Cain to give Kammy a chance, impressing him with his welding skills. Ross is horrified when he receives a phone call. Caleb reminds Steph that he's there if she ever needs to talk. He starts to prep for a potential new client he has arriving tomorrow. Jai arrives and finds Steph in a state. Ross informs Charity that Pete has been attacked and is in a serious condition in hospital. Joe overhears Ross mention that he's going to see him and doesn't know how long he will be gone for. Jai pushes Steph to open up about Anthony.

Part Four: Caleb walks in on Jai's attempts to get Steph to talk about Anthony, prompting Steph to walk out. Joe informs Kim that Ross has had to rush off as Pete has been attacked and is in hospital. He gives Dawn the brushoff as she tries to talk to him. Charles floats the idea of doing something different for Easter celebrations but Claudette isn't keen. Manpreet frustrates Ella by reminding her to leave the house as soon as she can and Ella lays into her for not spotting the signs of Chas's addiction, stating that she must have been too distracted posting naked photos of herself online. Charles and Claudette overhear their conversation. Caleb informs Jai that he set up the break-in at the depot and had been cooking the books, planning an insurance job. He claims that Steph found out and wouldn't let him go through with it and told Anthony who threatened to the go to the police. When he tried to persuade Anthony not to do so, their argument turned physical and Steph has just found out what went on. Claudette loudly accuses Manpreet of being a pornographer in the café. Manpreet claims Ella is unwell to the point of being completely deluded and accuses her of spreading malicious lies, demanding Ella to get out of her house immediately. Dawn confides in Kim how she tried to book some time away with Joe but he finished with her. Kim tells her that Joe is not the type of person to play happy families and suggest she fix her marriage before she regrets it. Shortly afterward, Kim tells Joe to let Dawn fix her marriage. Charity is annoyed to find Kammy working at the garage. Cain decides to give him a two week trial starting tomorrow. Caleb warns Steph that Jai is fishing for information and doesn't know anything about what truly happened. He promises that he will deal with him. Ruby finds Steph giving herself a makeover. Alone, Steph looks over a photo of her and Anthony. Dr Crowley tells Joe that he wants £50,000 extra as with Ross snooping around the job is becoming more complicated than what he signed up for. Joe agrees to give him the extra money on the condition everything goes ahead tomorrow.
