Plot[]

Part One: John keeps watch on Mackenzie. Charity apologises to Sarah and promises to back off when Sarah tells her that she is supposed to know better than egging two young lads on to do something stupid. Mackenzie finds Liam and tells him he has the manure he wanted for the allotments. John overhears Liam ask if he could drop it off there for him. Jacob confides in Tracy about the bike race with Kammy and how he hasn't been feeing himself lately. When he mentions how Sarah and him had a really good talk the previous day which has given him hope that they may get back together, Tracy suggests it could be Leyla watching over him. Kammy reveals to Cain that he saw Sarah kiss Jacob after the race. Liam finds Claudette behind the reception desk at the doctors surgery and she informs him she is covering as John isn't well. Billy talks Clemmie round to returning to school. Dawn informs him that she is barely speaking to her at the moment. Billy tells her he's had to bribe the kids with a trip to London to see Ellis, leaving Dawn annoyed at him arranging things behind her back. She comes round to the idea as Billy reminds Dawn that they are only in this situation because she decided to break up with him. Frankie begins questioning about whether Nate is coming home when Chas reveals to Tracy in the pub that Sam and Belle were asking for an address for Nate so they could send him a birthday card. Liam shifts the manure at the allotment. John sneaks up on him and whacks over the back of the head, thinking he is Mackenzie.

Part Two: John is surprised when he sees Mackenzie get out of his landrover and rush towards an unconscious Liam at the allotment. He runs off. Mandy tries to talk to Vinny, worrying his engagement to Gabby is too sudden. Chas and Aaron rush off to the allotments when Mackenzie calls them, leaving Mandy to manage the bar. They find John outside and take him with them. Kammy wonders if Sarah is avoiding her and reveals to her and Jacob that he saw them kiss yesterday. Jacob hides his disappointment when Sarah tells him she was just being a friend and that he kiss didn't mean anything. She tells Kammy that she has just told Jacob that she doesn't want to get back with him but he doesn't believe her and breaks up with her. John tends to Liam as Liam tells him, Chas, Aaron and Mackenzie that he got hit from behind so didn't see who it was. John believes Liam will need stitches and ponders aloud as to whether Ella could be responsible. Aaron asks John to come home. Dawn tries to get her head around navigating a broken family. Charity informs Kammy that she has promised Sarah to stop interfering. He breaks the news to her that he and Sarah have broken up. Jacob and Kammy settle their feud as Jacob apologises to him and Kammy learns that he has recently lost his mother. They shake hands. PC Swirling informs Chas and Liam that they have tried to speak to Ella but she wasn't at home when they visited her. Persuaded by his actions at tending to Liam, Aaron tells John he's not giving up on him just yet and John promises to prove to him that Aaron can trust him.
