Plot[]

Part One: Caleb lays flowers at Frank's grave. John receives a letter from the hospital telling him he didn't get the job. He lies to Victoria that he has been successful. Sarah chats to Manpreet about other people with her condition that have been able to have a baby. Rhona invites Vanessa to Mary's 75th birthday party but she doesn't feel ready to do so. Ruby breaks the news to Steph that she's decided to change her surname to just Miligan. Steph rushes out telling her and Caleb that she has a facial booked. Sarah relays research to Manpret that she has done online of people with her condition who have gone on to have babies through IVF. Manpreet reminds her that their medical history may be different and that their treatment may not be comparable to her. Sarah asks her to write a referral letter supporting her for NHS referral for IVF but Manpreet doesn't believe that her situation would be funded and warns her that private treatment can be expensive. Ruby thinks Steph needs professional therapy but Caleb can't face the risk of Steph revealing about Anthony's death. Steph meets with a doctor about a nose job. Liam asks Claudette back to work on reception at the doctors surgery. John tells Liam he got the job at the hospital. When Claudette accidentally knocks a plant pot to the floor, Liam begins to suffer a panic attack. Steph lies on her mental wellbeing test with the doctor and he is concerned to see she is distressed by some of the questions. He encourages her to open up to him.

Part Two: John helps Liam through his panic attack. Steph lies to the doctor that she wants a nose job due to bullying. She tells him she wants to look in the mirror and not be reminded of everything that has happened. The doctor agrees to go ahead with the surgery as Steph confirms she is not considering any further alterations. John takes over for Liam as he takes a rest. Steph returns home and informs Ruby and Caleb that she is leaving for Capri with her friend Rhi tomorrow. They are both puzzled at the suddenness of her decision and the fact that she is planning to go away on Caleb's birthday. Liam shows his gratitude for John's help and asks him to reconsider leaving, explaining he plans to offer the receptionist role to Claudette full-time and freeing him up to do more consultations. John agrees. He overhears Cain leaving Nate another voicemail. Rhona informs Mary that she she invited Vanessa to her party but she declined. Sarah confides in Vanessa that Manpreet advised her against getting pregnant but she intends to get a result from a specialist. Vanessa suggests they look for a specialist together and then inform Charity but Sarah asks her to keep the secret for now. She encourages Vanessa to make up with Mary. Mary is happy as Vanessa rethinks and agrees to attend her party. Victoria is baffled that John has decided to stay at the doctors surgery. John has a chat with Cain about Nate. Cain informs him that the Nate he knew wouldn't be so cruel as to abandon Frankie. Steph begins to pack for her surgery tomorrow. She receives a call from another clinic and arranges to book a consultation for a brow lift.
