Emmerdale Wiki

Plot[]

Part One: Steph presents Caleb with his birthday present - a watch he has had his eye on, engraved with 'World's greatest dad' - as she leaves for her plastic surgery, under the cover of going to Capri. She refuses to join in for a birthday selfie with Ruby and Caleb. Victoria is surprised that Aaron is still allowing Mackenzie to be his best man. John finds Liam trying to prepare himself for returning to the doctors surgery after his panic attack, worrying that the police are no nearer to finding his attacker. Ross arrives to see Steph off and the pair agree to put their encounter the other day behind them. Tracy starts crying when John asks her how she is doing when she arrives at the doctors surgery for a repeat prescription for Frankie. Tracy reveals that Nate's birthday has got Frankie asking questions of his whereabouts again. Sarah informs Vanessa she has been ringing around clinics about IVF and one in Leeds has offered her an appointment in a few weeks time where she should out if she's suitable. When Charity finds them chatting, Vanessa covers that Sarah is asking her advice as she is considering getting a dog. John tries to convince Tracy to drop her idea of going to Shetland to try and find Nate. She tells him that she has packed up the rest of his things and explains how she is overdrawn and maxed out on her credit cards. John suggests he get her a referral to a counsellor. Steph lies to the doctor that her parents are abroad at the moment but have booked her a cab for when the surgery is complete. Caleb becomes suspicious when he tries to track the flight that Steph should be on and discovers it doesn't exist. He lets himself into her laptop to try and find her booking confirmation but finds the email confirming her nose job instead. He and Ruby rush off to try and stop Steph.

Part Two: John is pleased when Liam tells him he has every faith in him when he mentions he recommended a counselling referral to Tracy. He asks Victoria to give Tracy a bit of moral support as a single mother herself and hands her some money for a bottle she can take round to Tug Ghyll. Ruby and Caleb rush into the clinic and announce to the doctor that Steph is rushing into a nose job after recent news on her biological father. Victoria informs Tracy of John's mercy mission and tries to get Tracy to see that she can bring up Frankie fine without Nate around. Steph admits to Ruby and Caleb that she sees Anthony each time she looks in the mirror and she wants it to stop. Caleb explains to the doctor that he mustn't go through with Steph's surgery as she is going through trauma after finding out her mother was raped and fell pregnant with her. The doctor decides not to go ahead with the surgery. Vanessa tries to push Sarah into telling Charity about her baby plans. Charity catches them talking again and jokes about Sarah hardly being the nurturing kind, believing they are still discussing her getting a dog. Sarah storms away, hurt. Tracy confides in Victoria that she is upset that she can't afford to take Frankie out and how quickly she gets through clothes sizes. Steph accuses Ruby and Caleb of humiliating her and warns them that they won't change her mind. Ruby continues to believe that she needs counselling but Caleb wants to try talking to her again tomorrow. Alone, Steph brings forward her appointment for a brow lift at the other clinic. Tracy checks her post and finds an envelope from the bank addressed to Nate. She opens it to find a new credit card.
