Plot[]
Stephen tries to stop the affair with Dolly before any more damage is done. Joe calls round to say goodbye to Stephen and sees Dolly come out of the cottage with him. An uneasy Dolly fobs him off saying she just came to say goodbye to Stephen, but Joe knows something is going on after what he saw earlier. Matt's livid when Donald Hinton says to Matt that he saw Dolly leave the forresters cottage where Stephen lives. Matt knows this must be where Dolly has been sneaking off to the past few days. He is now sure she is having an affair. Stephen then leaves for Scotland alone. Dolly returns home and Matt says he knows her secretive behaviour is about Stephen Fuller and that she will give him an explanation later, then leaves the bedroom. However Matt loses his temper and barges back into the bedroom and confronts Dolly about her affair with Stephen. Matt says that their marriage is over.
