Plot[]
The alarm on one of the barns at Emmerdale Farm is going off. Matt stops it as a distressed Dolly worries the police may arrive. Amos' brother Ezra is staying at the Woolpack. He has suddenly become intolerant to blood and Amos comes up with some ideas for Ezra to face his fears including blindfolding him and exposing him to a cow at Emmerdale Farm. Jackie wants to make his mark on the village and is determined not to let anyone stand in his way. Turner wants to keep an eye on young lovers Nick and Helen at Home Farm. He keeps this quiet but secretly checks up on them that evening as they are getting intimate by saying he needs a book to read. Joe meets wealthy businessman Denis Rigg in a restaurant in Hotten and Denis suggests that Joe buys Turner out of Home Farm.
