Plot[]
Matt, Sam and Joe hear that Annie is returning from Rome in the afternoon. Joe confides in Matt that he thinks Christine has gone back to Alan Baines, an ex-boyfriend. He leaves to track him down. Amos is annoyed that Norah is selling soft drinks outside the shop, worrying that it will affect The Woolpack trade. Henry leaves to pick Annie up from Manchester. Joe pulls up outside Gordon Museum and notices Christine's car parked outside. Liz helps Sam prepare for Annie's homecoming. Davey helps Matt out on the farm in exchange for 10p. Joe watches as Christine and Alan leave the museum arm in arm and get in her car. Annie arrives back at the farmhouse with Henry and finds out Christine has left.
