Plot[]
Marian catches up with happenings in Beckindale and finds herself the subject of speculation regarding Jack. Annie is nervous about starting her driving lessons. Joe, Matt and Henry watch her pull away from the yard, stalling the car in the process. Jim phones Matt to inform him some of Emmerdale's sheep have escaped from their field. Marian confides in Joe about the man she was engaged to in New Zealand and why it wouldn't have worked if they married. Joe's reluctant to talk about Christine when Marian brings her up, but later opens up about why they didn't work out either. Annie plans to go and visit Freda to put a stop to gossip that is going round the village.
