Plot[]
The village is awash with gossip now the truth is out about Graham and his role in Rachel's death. Eric wastes no time telling everyone that he suspected Graham, but even the police wouldn't listen to his theories, and he berates Sarah for not believing him and shouts at her and Betty in the diner when they say that he should have said something sooner. Chris plays the knight in shining armor when he orders a group of reporters, including Darren Pearce, away from Kathy. Soon enough, Pearce causes trouble at the cafe before he is later thrown out of The Woolpack by Terry. Thereafter he goes to visit Ollie, only to get into trouble with her mother when Angie finds Pearce talking to her daughter and forces him to leave the house. Elsewhere, Frankie sets out to persuade Chris to move back to Home Farm and ends up having a drink too many with him. Chris, though, seems unconvinced when he tells Claudia that Zoe would probably be happy never to see him again. She feels sorry for him and as the conversation develops the two suddenly embrace in a romantic passion together.
