Plot[]

Viv asks Carol if she's having second thoughts, but Carol assures her that she is definitely up for it, as soon as she receives her husband Gordon’s money. Outside the B&B, Viv makes her excitement at owning the establishment clear, but Bob tries to calm her down and advises her that the estate agent is trying to play her and begs her not to make any rash offers. She decides to put in an offer, much to Bob and Donna’s chagrin. Edna worries to Jason about Batley after his operation and he asks her to come in for a cup of tea while she waits. Gloria gives her the bill, but Edna is stunned and angered at the price. Gloria offers her an instalment plan, however, Edna flat out refuses and assures Gloria that she will pay up. In The Woolpack, Seth offers to bet on the horses for her in the hopes of Edna making enough to pay the bill; she reluctantly agrees. Meanwhile, Carol offers Terry the position of manager of the Post Office, and Cain gives Andy a lesson in housebreaking – the hard way.
