Plot
There's no sign of Gloria at the vets. Zoe tells Paddy that he must have a word with Gloria about her recurring absence. Ashley and Angie come looking for Gloria after candlesticks have disappeared at the church. Tricia tells Marlon that they need furniture for the flat. Edna and Betty accuse Richie of not having a care in the world and swanking around in his car when they see him unloading his car. Chloe and Scott are pleased to have Richie home. Edna discusses Richie with Zoe. Zoe tells her that it's a free country, Edna retorts that Zoe's a lesbian which isn't natural. Edna tries to make an appointment for Batley's post op checks. Paddy tells her that the balance for the op is still outstanding. Edna tells him that she gave Gloria the money in the Woolpack. Kathy tells Marlon that she has more time for the business since Jack is back that evening. Zoe can't make head nor tail of the appointments book. Betty tells Richie that he lied in court. Viv asks why he changed his evidence. Richie storms out of the shop. Emily chases Richie out. Richie tells her that he wants Sarah back. Emily tells him that he will never forget her but the pain will get less. Zoe thinks Gloria has a drink problem. Gloria arrives and says that she had a burst pipe. Paddy asks her about the money which Edna gave her. Gloria says that she borrowed it, but it is at home in a drawer safe. Angie and Ashley arrive and ask Gloria about the candlesticks. Gloria says that she didn't notice they were missing. Ashley says it is such a shame as they had been in the Church for a very long time. Gloria runs out saying she is going to get Edna's money, she cries outside the surgery. Eric goes into the vets and asks for Gloria. He tells Zoe that he had arranged to have lunch with Gloria. Gloria is drinking in her house. Betty arrives in Chez Marlon with some furniture, Kathy brings some more in. Ashley and Terry are out on a run. Ashley suggests getting more people interested and doing their own marathon. Betty walks into the pub and gives Richie a death stare. Cain speaks to Angie in the pub, and tells her she left her lipstick at his house. He tells her he will see her later. Paddy tells Zoe that Gloria has had a lot of financial difficulties recently, but Zoe reminds him that they are a business, not social services. Marlon asks Terry for some furniture. Marlon covers Tricia's eyes and leads her into the flat. There is some furniture in the flat. Eric goes to Gloria's house. There is no reply so he looks in the windows and then lets himself in through the back door. He sees Gloria sitting on the chair with her eyes closed.
