Plot[]
Marlon still waits for news of Tricia and rushes to the door when the postman brings some letters. He rifles through them and finds a small card from her. In it, Tricia tells him that she's safe and well, but requests that he does not try to look for her as he is better off without her, much to his dismay. He heads to The Woolpack to show Alan, who tells him that she has at least made the effort to contact him, but advises him to give her time. Meanwhile, Bernice expresses her surprise about Edna's comforting words, while the reality of the miscarriage hits home for Ashley when young mother Sharon brings her daughter round to the vicarage and he breaks down in Bernice's arms. Elsewhere, Jack’s forced to face the reality of selling the farm and Andrew’s caught in the feud between Chris and Tara.
