Plot[]
Part One: Alan complains of the smell in the B&B dining room. Zoe lies to Chris about where she was yesterday. He takes Charity out with him to the stud farm as his PA. Cynthia and Lisa arrive for their first day at the factory ahead of Gloria. Viv is quietly amused when Rodney buys air fresheners from the shop to try and mask the smell at the B&B. Zak welcomes Rodney to the Dingle dynasty when he discovers he is Marlon's new partner. Diane and Jack discuss their relationship setup - they agree to take things slow, living separately. Gloria tries to get the girls to work through their lunch break but Cynthia tells her they are entitled to it by law. Paddy is amazed when Zoe turns up in Chris's presence at the stud farm to speak to Charity. They are interrupted by Chris pulling Charity back to work. Betty tries to draw Cynthia into a gossip. Cynthia is uninterested. Diane is stunned to learn from Zak that Rodney is Marlon's new partner and will now be in direct competition with the Woolpack.
Part Two: Gloria is annoyed by the lack of work being delivered from Seth and Betty. Charity leaves work early telling Chris she has a headache. Paddy flatly informs Zoe not to flaunt her love life in front of him, saying he doesn't like being drawn into her deception. Zoe warns him against telling Chris, threatening his job. Nicola offers to accompany Alan to lunch as the Hotten Courier ask him to review a new restaurant in Hotten. Viv wears Bob down to committing to a belated honeymoon. Gloria talks Eric into firing Seth from his factory for being too old, thinking this will send out a message to the rest of the workforce. Charity is horrified to learn from Zoe that Paddy knows of their affair. Betty is enraged to find Seth has been sacked. Seth isn't too bothered. Betty, Cynthia and Lisa walk out early in protest of the decision, leaving only Sam and Edna finishing an urgent order. Zoe is thrilled by the excitement and tells Charity straight that Chris will inevitably find out about them but she isn't too concerned. Charity doesn't want to hurt him.
