Plot[]
Desperate not to let a few minor setbacks determine his fate as Woolpack manager, Bob tries to fix the till himself when it becomes jammed. However, his skills as an electrician leave a lot to be desired and within minutes the pub is plunged into darkness as he blows a fuse. To make matters worse, Bob finds himself wrestling with a lively beer barrel in the dark and ends up soaked to the skin. Little does he know his disastrous reign over the Woolpack bar is about to come to an abrupt end as Diane and Louise walk through the door to find their holiday is certainly over! Debbie is excited about spending the day with Cain, but bitter Charity is far less pleased to see Cain, warning him to bring her daughter back home on time. But time flies when you’re having fun and Debbie and Cain risk Charity's wrath as they over-run their time together by hours! Meanwhile, things are hotting up for Syd, Robert and Scott as they spend the evening in a lap-dancing club and Syd can’t believe his luck when one of the dancers offers him a free, private dance! Elsewhere in the village, Laurel resigns herself to the fact that she is not cut out for working behind the bar. Delighted that her plan has worked perfectly, a two-faced Nicola seizes the moment and feigns her sympathy for Laurel – delighted that she will now rejoin the cleaning clan.
