Plot[]
It's the aftermath of the garage fire with both Terry and Scott on the warpath. When Terry bumps into Charity he's quick to let slip that the arson was on Chris’s orders. Charity is further stunned to learn that Terry stalked her and that Chris is in the process of arranging for Cain to be beaten to a pulp. Confronting Chris over his dastardly plans Charity is sickened to hear that Cain shouldn’t be able to walk again after the thugs have finished with him. Unable to locate Cain and Debbie anywhere Charity fears for their lives. Meanwhile, on a fishing trip, astute Cain has sussed that they are being followed by some city thugs so loses them in the woods. Charity's frustration turns to fury when she finds them safe and sound and Cain mocks her for her concern. But their heated argument turns to passion, as the once young lovers revisit old feelings and fall into each other's arms. Little do they know Debbie has witnessed their lingering kiss. Alarm bells ring for Donna when Robert skips a date with her to take Elaine out on a driving lesson. Having not heard from her hubby in weeks, Lisa is starting to get concerned for his welfare. Meanwhile, Shadrach is keen to blacken Zak’s name, suggesting that he must have lost interest in his doting family. Viv is dying to open her son's letter containing the results of his DNA test so is relieved when Scott finally shows up to put her out of her misery. With official documentation proving that Scott is Jean’s father he finally has something against the man who is intent on ruining his livelihood. Much to Chris's horror, Scott appears at Home Farm brandishing the evidence, and once again insisting that he did not rape Zoe. He tells Chris that he can buy, burn or evict him but he will still always be a part of their lives.
