Plot[]
Marlon remains ensconced in the attic at Holdgate Farm and Emily thinks his gloom may be lifting when he allows her into his hideaway, but she is shocked by his strange behaviour. By the attic window, Marlon has built a shrine to Tricia and when Emily suggests other people are grieving for Tricia and may want to see Marlon's mementos he becomes angry and asks her to leave. Marlon's days in the attic may be numbered as Zoe discovers that the Dingles have been tapping the farm's electricity supply and resolves to offload the farm on Tom King. With Rodney in tow for protection, Chloe goes round to collect some of her things. Leaving Rodney on guard outside she is quick to lay into Syd and viciously tells him how useless he is. Things don’t go as she planned though. It looks as if he's going to ask her to come back but Chloe can’t resist insulting him and Syd has had enough and tells her he doesn’t want to see her anymore and tells her to get out, and he means now! Val still can’t resist the excitement of having two men on the go. Despite waking up at Rodney's with a sore head, after another night of passion with the ageing Don Juan of the Dales, she is soon making eyes at Danny across the bar that lunchtime. With Rodney hovering in the background and Diane ever present, Val and Danny have to resort to a series of meaningful nods and winks to arrange another afternoon of passion.
