Plot[]
With Cain on the rampage, a petrified Debbie runs from her father and hides behind Daz. Assuming he is involved, Cain slams the young boy against the wall and threatens to kill him. Debbie insists Daz is innocent and Cain tears the house apart looking for further clues. Cain calls his daughter a common little tart and mocks her hypocritical obsession with the church. When Debbie defends Ethan, Cain jumps to the wrong conclusion and, in spite of Debbie's pleas, races off in search of the curate. Cain finds Ethan and follows him into the church. Terrified, Ethan turns to face Cain who punches him in the face and drags him across the floor to the altar. Ethan admits he has prayed for forgiveness and Cain takes this as confirmation that he slept with Debbie. Elsewhere, Viv is furious when a local news reporter tells her that Frank is due to be released from prison the following week. However she is unaware that his release date has been brought forward because of leaked information and he will be arriving in the village the following day.
