Plot[]

Steph meets her new solicitor and tells him to apply for bail that day. However, Steph is horrified when she is refused bail and told that she will appear in the crown court in seven days. That evening Alan receives a begging phone call from Steph desperately trying to convince him of her innocence. Appalled, Alan venomously tells his daughter that he has disowned her and that he hopes the court throw away the key. Elsewhere, Charity is uneasy when Tom’s friends Helen and Roger visit. As they all enjoy catching up, Sadie takes pleasure in joining in and Charity can’t help feeling like an outsider. Elsewhere, Syd is delighted when he is offered an interview for a building company and his day gets even better when Chas gives him a congratulatory kiss.
